Meet Marina. She was a mermaid. Key word: was. Did she choose to become human? No. She did not. That's the problem. She want's to go back to her old life, but how? She does not have that power. But, she could use some people to help her. Maybe some friends, a foe or two on the way, not to sure for love though. Like many mermaids, she does not think to highly of humans, and often sees them as not being as smart as she. But maybe, somehow, she can find a way to like humans more, or not. Her view on them isn't the best due to the fisherman who caught her and got her turned human. Not talking a lot, she tends to do things, then not explain it, which generally could frustrate to a point.On the love front, don't expect to get very far, unless, somehow, you find a way to win her over.

Due to being a former mermaid, she has a vast knowledge of the sea, and generally would give out the information she has, but, at the price of helping her return to her true form.

Caleb is falling for this girl and HARD. However, he doesn't know she's a mermaid and he's slightly dimwitted when it comes to people, so her secret's safe. He's also respectful, so he won't push her into anything. He's more like a puppy dog that follows her around, obeying her every command. He's kind hearted, but lies more then lawyer. They're in a thread right now, but Caleb would like her to think of him as a friend, and if not that, then an ally she can rely on.

Marina & Caleb I could see them as friends! she'd probably wont return his feelings very much, but she'll probably like him as a friend. That, and she'd probably ask him to help her with many human things, so that way she doesn't seem stupid to anyone else.
