What do you do when your own son is willing to kill you? An AU Future HP RP
It has been thirty years since the final battle at Hogwarts. The wizarding world has known nothing but peace during that time. All those involved in that horrific time when Voldemort reigned have put their lives together and have moved on.
Harry himself entered the auror program at the ministry, and spend ten years as an auror before being promoted to the head of the law enforcement division of the ministry. However, he quickly grew bored of that job after just five years and almost literally jumped at the chance when Headmistress McGonagall offered him the job of Defense against the dark Arts Professor.
Fifteen years after that, Tragedy struck when Minerva died quietly and suddenly in her sleep. Harry, as deputy Headmaster, was the obvious choice to replace her. Harry takes the job with a heavy heart, not only because his friend and mentor has passed, but because there is once again a threat to Hogwarts and the rest of the world. A new dark lord has arisen, and it is someone close to Harry's heart.
What do you do when your own son has taken up the mantle of Voldemort? James Potter has gone against everything his family has taught him and has started to gather followers. Those who believe the same pure blood ideology that he does. Harry has no choice but to revive the Order of the Phoenix, and fight against his own son.
Which side will you choose? Will you be a student and take classes or play on the house quiddich team? Will you be a professor and teach classes or lead a house? Will you be a ministry worker or shopkeeper? Death Eater or Order member?
