Crossroads, California, a typical city or so it seems.
Myth and legends walk the streets in the guises of humans, their true forms hiding just underneath.
Vampires with souls and dragons in human form, many types of creatures roam the city.
A hundred years ago a war broke out amongst the creatures, the war was started by a group known as the Rogues, creatures dedicated to the destruction of the human race.
Humans got caught in the middle of the war; a few brave joined the creatures calling themselves Hunters of the Dark.
The rogues were defeated and went into hiding for forty years until resurfacing one by one.
Now 2011 the city has grown, the humans still remain unaware of their supernatural neighbors, partying along side them and walking by them on the street.
The hunters are going strong, protecting the innocent from the rogues whose number are growing as well and are slowly killing the humans off one by one.
